Obituary for Liwayway Alonde Guevarra

Liwayway Guevarra was born on January 7, 1934 and left us on May 21, 2019.  She was the eighth (8th) child of Brigida Tanon and Leoncio alonde.  Graduated as a Bachelor of Science in elementary education in the Philippines Women's University.

Liwayway married Arsenio Guevarra and was blessed with two daughters; Marichu and Thelma and granddaughter Bernadette; sons-in-law, Alberto and Nestor.  Liwayway migrated in the US in 1986 and worked in Amencania Hotel in San Francisco as a housekeeper.

Her interests included volunteering her time in religious activities and became head catechist at Nuestra Senior De La Paz Parish Church and on the the Rollestas in Curcillo in Binan, Laguna.  Proud to say she supported the vocation of her God -daughter Annicia Caraca to become a nun.

Liwayway was a wonderful woman that was loved, missed and will always be cherished.  Her smile and charisma will warm your heart.
