Obituary for Rodolfo Rebollido Gutierrez

Rodolfo "Rudy" Rebollido Gutierrez, 77, of  Daly City, CA passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

He was born on March 26, 1942 in Manila, Philippines. He is the second child of Jeremias Gutierrez and

Feliza Rebollida Gutierrez.

Rudy was a "Makati boy" and learned early on to fend for himself and the benefits of giving to others.

His love for sports and activities was always evident. He was cadet captain in the ROTC, a pitcher is

baseball, a freestyle swimmer, and ran track. As an adult, while going to the University of the East (UE),

he earned his pilot's license and enjoyed flying open F4 airplanes. He later graduated with a bachelor's

in business administration and worked for the Philippine News. In America, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing ,

and excelled at bowling and in his favorite sport of golf.

He came to the United States in 1974 and settled down in the South of Market. Rudy worked off jobs

to save money to bring his wife, Zenaida, and first borne daughter, Love , to America. It was not until he

started working for the United States Postal Service and continued working for 30 years until his 

retirement in 2008.

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Zenaida "Zeny" Gutierrez. He is survived by his

loving children, Love, Joy (Gerald), and Peace (Geraldine) and partner, Martina Fontillas, Donna Haaland

(Jan) and Dindo Garacia (Even). All of whom blessed him with wonderful grandchildren: Autumn, Lucas,

Jacobb, Kaylah, Ryan, Jeramie, Mya, Warren, Emmanuel, Aizon, Hans, Gian Carlo, and Giovanni.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Arsenio Gutierrez and Leopoldo Sangaland and survived by

their families which lovingly knew him as Tito Baby.

We will miss him dearly and love him forever!
