Obituary for Linda S. Seaman

Linda S. (Rentschler) Seaman, 68, of Kutztown, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 in her residence. She was the loving wife of Arlan E. Seaman, Jr., whom she married on July 19, 1969. Born in Allentown, Linda was a daughter of the late Jay T. and Audrey M. (Dietrich) Rentschler. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown, where she helped with the yearly attic sale. She was also a 1968 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Linda was employed by East Penn Manufacturing Co. Inc., for 37 years, first working at their Lyons plant and later in Kutztown, until her retirement in 2011.

She enjoyed collecting Raggedy Ann Dolls, traveling to Walt Disney World and attending the Daytona 500 for 20 years. She also attended car shows with her husband, Arlan, and was a member of Lost in the 50's Car Club, Allentown, where she served as a former Secretary. Above all, Linda loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Arlan, Linda is survived by her two daughters, Lisa M. (Seaman) BogertKutztown, and Cathy L. (Seaman), wife of Perry G. Kramer, Fleetwood; four grandchildren, Joshua G., husband of Alyssa E. (RutkowskiBogert, Nicholas J. Bogert, Logan J. Kramer, Keegan A. Kramer; a great- granddaughter due in July; brother, Michael E., husband of Linda J. (Lutz) RentschlerKutztown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by a sister, Barbara A. (Rentschler) Butler, on July 16, 2004.

A funeral service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA, with Reverend Christopher deForest officiating. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home.
