Obituary for JACK SZE CHOW

Jack Sze Chow of San Francisco passed away of natural causes on 4/2/19 at the age of 79.

Jack was born on 8/12/1933 in Guangdong Province, Kaiping County, Maogong Xiadong Township, to Wong Lai Wan and Chow Deng Xiang.  

Jack attended Kai Zhong Middle School and was number one in his class. 

Jack immigrated to the United States on 1/15/1963 to San Francisco, California, what in Chinese is called Gold Mountain, in search of a better life. 

He returned to Hong Kong to marry Michele Yan on 9/25/1966.  

He was a man who had a craving and passion for knowledge and fixing things.  He spent 33 years (1973-2006) of his life as a successful restaurant owner of the Lafayette Coffee Shop.  

He is survived by his wife Michele Chow and daughters Pauline Chow, Dana Chow, Denise Chow, Renee Chow, and son, Darryl Chow, 6 granddaughters Vivienne Zing, Lauren Chu, Jenna Zing, Madelyn Chu, Katie Chow Kim, Tory Chow Kim and grandson Colin Chu.
