Obituary for Marcia Lynn Scarfo

Marcia Lynn Scarfo, 66, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Her family thanks the nurses, doctors and staff of the ICU for caring so deeply and making Marsha's final days the best possible.

Marcia was born on February 10, 1953, in Sharon, Pennsylvania and graduated from Brookfield High School in 1971. She obtained her degree as a registered nurse and practiced in intensive care units and nursing homes in Ohio, California, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Marcia was proudly a member of First Baptist Church in Niles, Ohio.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Victoria Matta, and her brother-in law, Alfredo Gorospe, M.D.

She will be sorely missed by her sisters, Andrea Gorospe and Kathy Baxter, her brother-in-law, Douglas Baxter, and her nieces and nephews: Brian Baxter; Valerie and Jason Levkulich; Greg Gorospe and Kelley Griesmer; Mark and Gretchen Gorospe; and Joseph Gorospe.

Marcia's life will be celebrated in a private family service.
