Obituary for Luis (Louis) Medina Beliso, Jr

It is with great sadness and joy to announce that Lou Beliso of Fremont, peacefully passed away with his

earthly family by his side and is now reunited with his heavenly family on March 7, 2019.

Born on July 13, 1930 to Luis Rizal and Encarnacion Medina-Beliso, he was 88 years of age.

Known for telling wonderful stories of family memories that he shared up to his last moments of

communication. Served as a Merchant Marine in the United States Navy on the USS Bon Homme Richard

and during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Jose Beliso and Sister Elena Beliso.

Survivors included his ex-wife, Priscilla Lusterios. Daughters and son-in-law Cheryl (John) Leach,

Dolores Beliso, Morgan McCormick. Son John  Broberg. Brothers and sisters-in-law

Lenny (Nemy) Beliso, Al (Norma) Beliso, Rod (Salve) Beliso, Rudy (Emily) Beliso, and Gail Beliso.

Blessed with 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Receiving friends will be March 14,  4:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Newall Chapel, Cypress Lawn Funeral Home,

1383 El Camino Real, Colma, CA. Funeral on March 15, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at

11:30, Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery where he will receive military honors.
