Obituary for Victor D Pineda Jr

Victor D. Pineda, Jr., a beloved husband, loving father and adoring grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 77.  

The youngest of 9 children, Victor was born on January 8, 1942 in Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines to Victor Sr. and Romana Pineda.  He graduated from the University of the East, Manila and later met the love of his life, Lucia, in Makati. He worked at GE/Philacor for 16 years until Victor, along with his family, immigrated to the United States in 1984. He resided in Daly City for over 20 years and worked as a bookkeeper for two firms in Oakland, CA.  In his retirement years, he was involved in helping Lucia run her business in San Bruno where they also lived until his passing.

Victor loved sports, especially baseball and basketball, where his favorite teams where the SF Giants and the Warriors. He loved music and singing and enjoyed books, walking, word games, and playing cards.

He will be missed profoundly by his wife Lucia, his children, Victor (married to Anny Chan), Jennifer, Mari Lou (married to Ted Webster), and Jonathan (married to Joy Pineda), his grandchildren Sean, Tara, Jordan, Chanssen, Noelle, Sophia, Emma and Averie, his brother Pedro Pineda, and numerous nieces and nephews.
