Janet McCarter, 72, of Lansdowne, PA died January 28, 2019 at her residence. 

She was a lifelong resident of Upper Darby Township and a graduate of Upper Darby High School.  Janet was employed by Methodist Hospital, the Headquarters of the Lutheran Church in America (Southeast Pennsylvania Synod), and Wyeth Laboratories.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and loved reading and being with her Church friends. 

She is survived by cousins Mary Jo Everhart and James McCarter.

Her Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 9, 2019  at 12 Noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 65 Penn Blvd, East Lansdowne, PA 19050 where family and friends may visit from 11:30 AM. 

Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
