Obituary for La Gou Wong

La Gou Wong was born on September 30, 1946 and was married to Ying Pon Wong on May 10, 1968.  She has three children – Anna, Lewis and Pearl.  In 1979, she and her family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.  She and her husband worked hard and long hours to provide the best for their children.  She is very close to all three of her children.

She also has four wonderful grandchildren - Derrick, Jessica, Amanda and Kyle.  She was the greatest grandma to the children, taking great care of them.  She always made sure the kids are will behave and respectful to others.  She is selfless, always putting her family’s needs before hers. 

Her hobbies are knitting sweaters in the winter for her children and grandchildren. She loves to cook great food for the family.  One of her children’s favorite is when she cooked sticky rice with lots of Chinese sausage.  She loves to travel back to Asia to visit her siblings and family she left behind.

La Gou Wong recently passed away peacefully on the morning of February 2, 2019 in her home in San Jose, surrounded by all her family members.
