Obituary for James J Nania

Obituary - James J.  Nania, 85, of Drexel Hill, PA, died January 10, 2019 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he had been a a resident of Drexel Hill for over 50 years. A graduate of Overbrook High School, he served in the US Army. Employed as a Foreman by TJ Cope, Jim was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, where he was active in their Bingo Nights. He enjoyed cars, home repair and in his youth was an avid baseball player in the Phillies farm system. Known as the Mayor of Plumstead Ave., survivors include his wife of 56 years, Pat (nee Galbraith); Daughter, Jean Marie Nania, Son, James Michael Nania, Grandchildren, Stephanie, Gianna, Jennie & Jimmy Nania,  Eddie& Nicholas Peiffer, Step grandson, Billy Green and Great-Grandchildren, Jordan & Mia Nania

Service: Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave. Drexel Hill, PA 19026,

Visitation:  9:30 am to Wednesday at the St. Charles Borromeo

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Arrangements: Toppitzer Funeral Home, Drexel Hill.
