Obituary for Mariano V. Flores

Mariano Versola Flores, also known as Boy or Nano was born in Vigan,

IIocos Sur in the Philippines on the 15th June 1930 to the late Aurelio and

Carmen Flores. He was the 4th child of 9 siblings. Mariano met his wife,

Zeny through his best friend Danny who was to become later his brother-in-law.

Mariano and Zeny married in 1984 and their union was blessed with their son

Nino Aurelio and an older child Nina Angela who sadly did not survive long

enough to be with the family.

A hard worker, he held a job as a Pin Ball Machine Technician in the early years

and later as a courier for Federal Express. He retired six years ago due to his illness,

an illness that he fought so bravely with Zeny and Nino.  Mariano was a man of

few words and yet he commanded the love and the out most respect of those around him.

He has now left this world to join his daughter Nina, his parents and sister Carmina.

He will forever be in our hearts and sorely missed.
