Francisco (Frank) Danque Cahandig, 77, of San Francisco, CA, succumbed to cancer at the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on December 2, 2018. Francisco is survived by his wife Rosario (Nene) Cahandig, of 48 years, children Marie Murillo, Cheryl Zapanta and Frank Cahandig, sisters Cely Garcia, Terry Cahandig, Helen Cahandig and Janet Ravanera, grandchildren Don Jr. Zapanta, Jon Zapanta, Matt Zapanta, Sean Murillo, Mia Murillo, Justin Zapanta, Aaron Murillo and Kimiko Zapanta, son in-laws, Mike Murillo and Don Zapanta and extended family.  He is the son of Cantalecio and Magdelena Cahandig.  Francisco was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone.

Francisco had such a funny sense of humor, loved to watch sports, especially UFC and basketball, where his favorite team was the Warriors.  He was a businessman and also worked as a limousine driver at Associated Limousine.  Francisco enjoyed spending time with family playing poker, watching sports, Reno trips and most of all cooking his famous Filipino dishes.  He loved to cook for his family.

The Cahandig Family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to all the family and friends loving care and support during his final days.

We'd also like to thank the Rosarians of San Lorenzo Ruiz Center for their continued prayers from the onset of his illness up until his passing.
