Obituary for Ellen E Lewis

Obituary - Ellen E. (nee Kutz) Lewis, 89, of Willow Street, PA, died September 23, 2018 at Lakeside at Willow Valley. Born in Chester, she lived in Chester and Philadelphia, before raising her family in Springfield. A graduate of John Bartram  High School, class of '47, she was a member of Harvest Presbyterian Church in Willow Street, and a former member of Springfield Baptist in Delaware County and West Minister Presbyterian in Phila.. While she had been briefly employed outside the home, the role of wife, mother and homemaker defined her perfectly. Ellen enjoyed working in stained glass, knitting, Scherenschnitte (a German form of paper cutting) and traveling.

She was the beloved wife of the late David C. Lewis who died in 2012. Survivors: include her sons, David P. (Mikki) Lewis and Craig S. (Marsue) Lewis, Grandchildren, Jason A. (Christi) Lewis, Michael C. (Tynea) Lewis, Stephanie M. (Trevor) Costanzi, Jesse (Jennifer) Lewis and Ian Lewis, and 7 great granddaughters.

Private graveside was held September 28, 2018 at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026
