Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" E. Pisch

Elizabeth E. “Betty” Pisch (Cowell) 78, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on July 25, 2018 at Bryn Mawr Hospice after a long battle with heart and lung disease.
Born on December 6, 1939, in Germantown, to Hyacinth and Clarence Cowell, she was the youngest of 6 children. A retired receptionist for Hajoca, she formerly worked at CIGNA for over 25 years. Betty’s first job was as a long-distance operator for Bell Telephone in 1957. An avid animal lover, she donated to many charities dedicated to them. Betty loved music and dancing, was very outgoing, with a great smile and bubbly personality. People just liked being around her and she enjoyed visiting with friends at the Township Line McDonald’s and the Senior Center. One of her favorite pastimes was taking trips with her daughter to Cape May and playing Scrabble.

She loved her Son-in-Law as if he were her own and adored her Grand Cat - whom she spoiled every chance she got.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law, Barbara and Daniel Kelly; her “baby” Grand Cat, Pharaoh Kelly and her niece, Elsie Green of North Carolina.
Services are private. Donations in her name would be greatly appreciated and can be made to:
