Obituary for Lori A. Meitzler

Lori A. (Bauer) Meitzler, 54, of District Township, died as the result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident, Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 6:49 a.m., in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  She was the wife of Larry E. Meitzler, whom she married September 27, 1986.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Carolyn A. (Bales) Bauer, Alburtis, and the late William L. Bauer.  Mrs. Meitzler was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. Lori worked for over 13 years as a laboratory technician at Bally Ribbon Mill, Bally; prior, she worked as a pairer at Great American Knitting Mill, Bally. Lori was a graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School, class of 1981.  A terrific mother and grandmother, Lori, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 31 years, Larry, and her mother, Carolyn, Lori is survived by daughters: Adrea N. (Meitzler) wife of Matthew D. Kirsch, Breinigsville; and Marissa J. (Meitzler) Diachynsky, Bally. Other survivors include a brother, David A., husband of Gina M. (Bonett) Bauer, Bechtelsville; two grandchildren, Makenna Joy Diachynsky and Harper Jensenn Kirsch.

A memorial service to celebrate Lori's life will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, with Reverend Jerel W. Gade, officiating. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the church.   Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
