Obituary for Richard Coughlin

Coughlin, Richard Richard "Ricketts" Coughlin, age 57, passed away on July 1, 2018 at CT Hospice. He was an outstanding athlete for the Ansonia Chargers and long time route salesman. He is the son of the late Harriet (Flaherty) Coughlin Dempsey and Jack Coughlin Sr. He is survived by his beloved son, Anthony (Pia) Coughlin of Ansonia, sister Sharon (Karl) Skurat of Ansonia, brother Thomas (Kim) Coughlin of N. Haven, and several beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Jack, James and William Coughlin. A mass celebrating his life will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 23 N. Cliff St., Ansonia, CT. After pass to immediately follow, (no calling hours). A private burial will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assumption School in care of the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N. Cliff St., Ansonia, CT 0640
