Obituary for Terry L. Bennecoff

Terry L. Bennecoff, 73, of Weisenberg Township, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Kutztown Manor, Inc., where he was a resident since 2012. He was the loving husband of Carol A. (Lazarus) Bennecoff, whom he married on April 2, 1966. Born in Allentown, Terry was a son of the late Charles G. and Mildred M. (Snyder) Bennecoff. He was a member of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny, and a 1963 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, where he was involved in the 4-H Club and F.F.A. Terry was a life-long farmer, having been self employed on his pig farm in Weisenberg Township, raising hogs for show and breeding purposes, for many years. In his younger days, he worked as a cook at the former Skyview and Terry's Place restaurants and Peters Brothers Meat Market. Terry enjoyed going to fairs and hog shows as well as coaching his son's various baseball teams when he was growing up. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and belonged to a local bowling league. His love for hogs will continue on as his son Todd, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will forever have that same love; and plan to keep the family tradition going strong.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, Carol, Terry, is survived by his son, Todd L. Bennecoff, and his companion, Melonie Adamski, Kutztown, four grandchildren, Todd L. Bennecoff, Jr., and his wife, Stephanie, Justine A., Amy L. and Tami V. Bennecoff; and a great-grandchild, Raelee G. Bennecoff; and a  foster brother, Jesse Dixon, Jr., Hamburg. In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by his two foster brothers, Robert Angstadt and Raymond Dixon.
