Obituary for Barbara Alice Fishman

Barbara Alice Fishman (Klobucar) passed from this life on May 23, 2018, at the age of 76 after a five-year struggle with cancer.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 38 years, Ira S. Fishman, and her parents, Joseph M and Alice Klobucar.  She is survived by her brother Joseph E. Klobucar, her beloved bird Wendice, many cousins and long-time friends.

Born and raised in the Excelsior District of San Francisco, Barbara attended Balboa high School, graduated from San Francisco State University, and was a teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District at Luther Burbank Middle School for 33 years.  For many years, she and Ira enjoyed traveling the world.  Barbara and Ira are together again.

Friends may gather Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at  10am in The Maple Room of Cypress Lawn Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at 11am at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park both located at 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA.
