Obituary for Anthony Sorrenti

Anthony R. Sorrenti, an 89 year old Oakville resident, formerly of Seymour, and husband to Rosalind LoPresti Sorrenti, entered into eternal rest March 14. He was born Sept. 21, 1928 in Derby, son of the late Dominic & Julia Tavani Sorrenti. Anthony was a former member of The First Baptist Church in Ansonia and worked as a foreman for The Derby Finishing Co. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Randy Sorrenti of Oakville, CT (Beth) daughter Judy S. Brown of Prospect, five grandchildren, Allison, Jake, Michael, Jesse & Zachary and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters Edith Vicidomino, Josephine Volto & Carmela Porcu, two brothers Anso Segatori & Gaetano Sorrenti and one grandson. Friends may call at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia on Monday March 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
