Obituary for Marie Maturo Feducia

Marie Maturo Feducia age 98, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest March 6. She was born April 11, 1919 the eldest of four children of the late L. Anthony Maturo and Antonietta Maturo of Ansonia. She lived a happy life growing up in a caring family and was blessed by wonderful friends and neighbors. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to anyone who needed help.  She was married in 1942 to the love of her life Joseph and they shared many happy years before he passed away in 2007. Marie was passionate about her profession and served as a dedicated nurse at Griffin Hospital with her longtime colleague and friend Jo Mizii. Marie is survived by her daughter Laura Alsdorf and her husband Lee (Harry) of Naugatuck, her son-in-law Joseph Bagley of CA., her four grandchildren Joseph Bagley Jr. and his wife Christina of CA., Catherine Bagley of MA., Mark Alsdorf of FL, and Rachel Alsdorf of Argentina, and 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Tony Feducia and his wife Marie of Seymour and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda Bagley (Joseph) of Bethany and her sisters Marge (Melo) Sampieri, Ruth (Joseph) Ambrose and brother Rocco Maturo. Marie’s family extends their appreciation to the caring professionals at Senior Care in Middlebury and Glendale Center in Naugatuck who gave her care and comfort in her last years. Special thanks to nieces and nephew Hilda Feducia of Derby and Manley and Paula Feducia of CA whose kindness and thoughtfulness brightened her days. Funeral services will be private.
