Obituary for Cleopatra Williams

Cleopatra White Williams died February 20, 2018 after a short illness. Cleopatra White Williams was born on July 16, 1921 in Adairsville, Georgia to John White and Eva Kaigler White. The White family moved to Akron, Ohio when Cleopatra was two years old. Cleopatra was educated in the Akron Public Schools. Cleopatra married Frank Anderson Williams in November 1941. The marriage produced three sons and three daughters. Cleopatra was a fine Christian woman who loved to serve the Lord as a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Through her extensive church and civic duties, she enjoyed the admiration and respect of all who knew her. Her beloved husband, Frank, and oldest son, Kenneth preceded Cleopatra in death. She is survived by her children, Yvonne Baxter (Randolph), Ronald Williams (Monica), Paulette Walker (Arthur C.), Janice Kennerly (James), Michael Williams (Diana), and many grand and great-grandchildren. Service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 940 McKinley Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306, Pastor Lorenzo Glenn eulogist. Interment, Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 821 Cliffside Dr., Akron, Ohio 44313.
