Obituary for Michelle Ann Moll

Michelle Ann (Gouldner) Moll, 61, of Longswamp Township, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, with her family by her side. She was the loving and devoted wife of Randy J. Moll, whom she married on March 12, 1977. Born in Allentown, Michelle was a daughter of Betty A. (Kirkhoff) Gouldner, a resident of Kutztown Manor, Inc., and the late Roy A. Gouldner.

Michelle was a 1974 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, and was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. She worked as a Supervisor and Department Manager at the former Hess's Department Store at their Downtown Allentown and Trexlertown locations. Most recently, Michelle worked as a Manager at Paul Fredrick Menswear, Fleetwood, from 1993 until her retirement in September 2014. Following her retirement, Michelle enjoyed watching her grandchildren during the daytime, who were the joy of her life. She was heavily involved with the Longswamp Camp Fire Girls, having been a member herself, and later, serving as a Leader.

Michelle was also a supporter of the Brandywine Heights Band Boosters and the Brandywine Little League Ladies Auxiliary. An animal lover, Michelle enjoyed the outdoors, watching the birds, scrapbooking, making ceramics and being creative. Most of all, she loved and adored her family. She was her children's and grandchildren's #1 fan and supporter of all their activities. Michelle was a real fighter, and her determination kept her going with a positive attitude as she battled breast cancer for the last 15 years. "When the wind blows hard, the roots grow stronger." She will be missed by her family and many friends. "See you later, alligator."

In addition to her husband of almost 41 years, Randy, and her mother, Betty, Michelle is survived by her two children, Amy M. (Moll) Hall, Mertztown, and Kyle A., husband of Caitlin A. (Sublette) Moll, Topton, was the loving Gramma to her five grandchildren, Brionna Lynne Hall, Taylor Marie Hall, Austin Michael Hall, Skyler Roy Moll and Juniper Catherine Moll, who was born on February 26, 2018. she is also survived by her two brothers, John Gouldner, and his wife, Joan, Alburtis, and Wayne Gouldner, Hyde Park, MA, and her four-legged companion, Bella.

A funeral service to celebrate Michelle's life will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Huff's Union Church, 50 Conrad Road, Alburtis, with her Pastor, Reverend Jane M. Kropa, officiating. Burial will follow in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and again on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church.
