Obituary for Richard S Burgy Sr.

Richard S. Burgy Sr. of Ellenton/Bradenton FL, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA died November 22, 2017.  Richard was 88

Educated  in Upper Darby Schools, Drexel University and Design Schools, he was mainly employed by Piasecki Helicopter, General Electric and James G. Biddle Co as Production Specialist,  ICBM Missile Design Aide, finally 21 years as Marketing Engineer for Mechanical and Electrical Testing Units.

He is survived by son Richard, Jr., daughters Sandra Deasey, Beverly Brennan, step sons David and Wayne Baird, Charles Michael McGovern and Joseph Gallo.  In addition to his children he is also survived by 14 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by wife, Marilyn Louise Shaub-Burgy in 2017 and previous wife Mary Lucile Copley-Baird-Burgy in 1993.

A private graveside service will be at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road , Drexel Hill, PA. 19026
