Obituary for Arthur Lambros

Arthur Lambros, 88, a longtime resident of Randolph, died peacefully at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. He was the husband of Veneta (Papantoniou) Lambros. Son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Kontogiannis) Lambropoulos, he was born in Arlington, MA and raised in Sparta, Greece. He was a resident of Randolph for the past 35 years. Arthur was a machinist and restaurant owner for many years before retiring at age 62.

In addition to his wife, Arthur is survived by his children, Nicholas Lambros and his wife Jacqueline of Norfolk and Georgia Lambros of Randolph, as well as his grandchildren, Ariana, Isabella and Nico Lambros. He was the brother of Demitrios Lambropoulos of West Roxbury and the late Georgia Lambropoulos.

Visitation will be held from St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St., Braintree on Friday, January 5 from 9-10 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10 AM. Interment will take place at The Gardens at Gethsemane, West Roxbury. Donations in Arthur's memory may be made to St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St., Braintree, MA 02184.
