Obituary for William Wallace
William "Bill" Wallace, 89, born in Brighton, Alabama May 10, 1928 to Walter and Pearl Wallace, passed away December 18, 2017 following an extended illness.
William Wallace retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. 35 years ago with 44 years of service. He was a former member of Greater Bethel Baptist Church for 60 years serving many years on the Usher Board and Trustee Board, and was a current member of Arlington Street Church of God.
Preceded in death by his first wife Helen (mother of his three daughters); second wife Naomi; father Walter; mother Pearl; brother Walter; and eldest daughter Mahasin Al-Qaadir; he is survived by daughters Linda Skye Forney of Akron, Rachel (Charles) Stephens of N. Carolina; half-sister, Carolyn Wallace of Akron; Cousin Curtis (Cynthia) Wallace of Akron, Special Grandsons, Naim (Colette) Al-Qaadir and Ibn (Laticia) Wallace, both of N. Carolina; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
