Obituary for Jacqueline K. Fenstermacher

Jacqueline K. (Wasser) Fenstermacher, 82, of Lyon Station, died peacefully Saturday, December 23, 2017, in the home of her son, Bart.  She was the widow of Glenn D. Fenstermacher, who died July 24, 2010.  Born in Lyon Station, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Lillian H. (Mosser) Wasser.  Jackie was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Class of 1953.  She was employed as a waitress at the former Glockenspeil Restaurant and The Flowering Pot Restaurant at Rich Maiden Golf Course in Fleetwood.  She also enjoyed working at the Lyons Ball Field.  Jackie loved gardening, playing bingo, watching softball, annual fishing trips to Canada and to the Jersey shore, cooking and spending time with her family.  She was the best mom and Mimi anyone could ask for, and she will be dearly missed.

Daughter, Lori L. (Fenstermacher) wife of Robert D. Greenawalt, The Villages, FL; sons, Kurt D. husband of Elaine R. (Falcone) Fenstermacher, Gilbertsville; and Bart C. husband of Erin E. (Cooney) Fenstermacher, Lyon Station.  Other survivors include a brother, Glenn A. Wasser, Lyon Station; and grandchildren, Abby L. Greenawalt, Andrew R. Greenawalt, Zachary G. Fenstermacher, Jacob B. Fenstermacher, Daniel G. Fenstermacher and Maia J. Fenstermacher.

A memorial service to celebrate Jackie's life will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with the Reverend Dr. Joseph Piscitelli officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Lyons Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made in loving memory of Jackie to the American Cancer Society at 3893 Adler Place, #170, Bethlehem, PA 18017; or to Lehigh Valley Hospice at 2024 Lehigh Street, Suite 100, Allentown, PA 18103.
