Lois Jane Pollock
(nee Young) on December 23, 2017, of Washington Twp., N.J., Age 78.

Beloved wife of the late John E. Pollock. Devoted mother of Jeffery Pollock (Linda), James Pollock (Barbara), and Joyce Baugh (Henry). Loving grandmother of Stephen, John, James, Mark and Samantha. Devoted sister of James Young (Karen). Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Jane will be remembered as a kind, loving woman, and she was admired by many. You could find her on the sidelines cheering on her grandchildren in their variety of activities. She was an avid fan of the Phillies and the Eagles. She loved to dance. A Girl Scout troop leader for many years in her earlier days, Jane was also a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church of Glassboro where she enjoyed helping with Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the church office.
For many years, Jane worked as the receptionist for Woodbury Nissan and Carter Lincoln Mercury. She also was a jewelry sales associate for Boscov’s, Strawbridge and Clothier, and Best Products. Earlier in her career, she worked as a bank teller for Gloucester County Bank in Pitman, and as a teacher’s aide for the Washington Twp. Public Schools.

Born and raised in Delaware County, Pa., Jane married John in 1960 and they raised their three children in Norwood until they moved to Turnersville in 1976.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a service immediately following, at the First United Methodist Church of Glassboro, 60 State St., Glassboro, N.J., 08028.

Interment immediately following at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Glassboro for the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School funds at the address above.
