Loraine Miller, 71, passed away November 27, 2017. She was born September 12, 1946 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Steeley and Geneva Rapier.
Loraine was a loving mother and grandmother who was always there to take care of her family. She loved to cook, host holiday get togethers, play card games, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and doing craft projects with her grandkids. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who loved her.
Loraine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Michael; daughter, Melissa Morrison and sisters, Betty Jackson, Donna Hall and Mary Finch. She is survived by daughter, Michelle and son, Robert, Jr; grandchildren, Bobby III, Kaitlyn, Kyle and Joel; great-grandson, Kale; brother, Steeley (Rhonda) Rapier; sisters, Alma Shelby, Joyce (John) Debusk, Elaine Deemer, Ollie Lowe and Billie Joe (Mark) Brison; son-in-law, Greg Morrison; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319. Family and friends may call on Monday, for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
