Obituary for Marilyn Morris

Marilyn S. Morris TALLMADGE -- Marilyn S. Morris (nee Lucas), 61, passed away suddenly November 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving husband of 37 years, three children and son-in-law. She entered heaven while they surrounded her and sang her the family''s most cherished song, "I Love You Mamaw." Born in Seymour, Indiana, she had lived in Shalersville over 30 years prior to moving to Tallmadge in 2016. She was loving, tenacious, competitive, successful and always full of life. Marilyn had been employed with Alltel/Windstream for 29 years, loved to travel and was an avid quilter. Undoubtedly, her greatest interest and joy was being "Mamaw" to her grandchildren. She married Enoch Morris on July 26, 1980 and they enjoyed 37 happy years together. He survives. She is also survived by daughters, Katherine Knouff, Jennifer (Mark) Freiman; son, Jason (Lauren) Morris; grandchildren, Kaitlin Morris, Joshua Freiman, Abigail Knouff, Grace Freiman, Allison Knouff, Lucas Morris and a baby to arrive in June; brothers, Michael (Meredith) Lucas and Marvin "Andy" Lucas; brother-in-law, Steve Allamanno; and many loving aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Alva Earnest Lucas; mother, Nancy (Nay) Lucas; beloved sister, Marsha Allamanno and sister-in-law, Monica Lucas. She will be missed dearly and left us far too soon. "My new neighbor" - until we meet again.
