Obituary for Joseph T. Nelson

Obituary - Joseph T. Nelson, 78, of Broomall, PA, died November 26, 2017 at Taylor Hospice. Born in Darby and raised in Drexel Hill, he was part of Msgr. Bonner High's first graduation class. Joe attended Villanova Univ. and served in the US Army and reserves. He was a co-owner of Philip Rudolph & Son, a box manufacturing company. Following his retirement he worked part time at Berrodin Auto Parts. Joe was a resident of Broomall for the past 40 years and a member of St. Pius X Church. Joe enjoyed tennis and sailing, spending time in Avalon. Son of the late Thomas and Theresa (Kane) Nelson, survivors include his sister, Mary Traynor (Jack), his niece, nephew, grandnieces, grand nephews and friends. His Funeral Mass will be 10AM Thurs. at St. Pius X Church, Lawrence Rd., Broomall, where friends may call after

9am.

Interment: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple, PA 19064
