JOHN GRANT, JR. "JG" on November 11, 2017 age 76 of Glenolden.

JG was a big man with a big heart. He came from a large family and had many friends who all loved him for his kindness and his genuine qualities. An avid hunter, fisherman and wildlife enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and laughing with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time on his boat during the many annual family vacations in Stone Harbor, NJ.

A mechanic, machinist and maintenance supervisor by trade, there wasn’t much that JG couldn’t fix with a set of tools. Since retiring from General Chemical in 2001, JG spent the warmer months at his mountain retreat in Bradford County, PA, and headed south to central Florida during the winter.

Pop Pop JG loved his family more than anything. He especially loved his grandkids, who he adored and bragged about whenever he got the chance. He will truly be missed by all who loved him.
Husband of the late Cheryl (nee Turck) Father of John G. III (Debbie) , Joseph C. (Meredith),Megan E. Malesky (Rick), grandfather of John Ryan, Chloe Joy, Carly Christina, Grant Philip and Ava Juliet. Brother of Anne Pounds, Linda Steward, Dan Fech and Nancy Spanier .

Interment:Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill
