Obituary for Willie L. Ray

Willie Louis Ray Sr., 77, passed away September 11, 2017 in Indianapolis, Ind. where he resided since 2014. He was born in Rome, Ga, and lived most of his life in Akron, Ohio. He retired from Kenmore Construction Co. after 25 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1963 and was honorably discharged. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ella Ray Thornton and Willie L. Ray Jr. Service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 12 Noon at The Burning Bush Church, 1104 Johnston St., Akron, OH 44305, Pastor Reginald Ray Jr. eulogizing. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery. Procession will form at 1135 Wyley Ave., Akron, OH 44306 and condolences may be sent to 5237 Arabian Run, Indianapolis, IN 46228.
