Alice J. Woodburn CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Alice J. Woodburn, 65, passed away September 9, 2017. Alice was born in Akron, Ohio to Harold and Joan (Halpin) Taylor and was a 1970 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. To all who knew her, she was a beautiful and loving soul. She always put others before herself, even when she was in need. Alice was an incredible artist, always seeking a creative outlet. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, tending to her garden, and decorating her home for holidays. She was witty, full of spirit, and enjoyed talking to others to learn their story. Alice always sought to cross borders with her neighbors instead of building walls. A lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Alice was proud of her city and loved raising her family here. She was a third generation member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, which she greatly loved through a lifetime of service. Alice was a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Edwin Shaw Rehab Hospital for over 20 years. She was passionate about her work helping and mentoring others, and earned the 2015 Ohio Fieldwork Consortium''s Field Educator of the Year, for excellent student education. Alice has been reunited with her parents; sister, Carol Hunt; and grandson, Aidan Ing.
