Obituary for Sandor John Haydu
Sandor John Haydu, age 67, husband of Beverly Dowling Haydu of Ansonia, died Tuesday June 6, 2006 at Griffin Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1939 in Novibachy, Yugoslavia, son of the late Istvan "Steve" & Agnes Weiss Haydu. He worked as a carpenter for B.F.Goodrich of Shelton, and attended The Church of the Assumption of Ansonia. In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by his son, Mary Haydu and his wife Linda, of Naugatuck. Three daughters, Kerry Salemme and her husband Matthew of Ansonia, Jennifer Haydu of Ansonia and Stacy Haydu of Milford. One brother, Steven Haydu of Seymour and two grandchildren, Matthew Haydu of Naugatuck and Alexis Christy of Milford. He was predeceased by a brother, Les Haydu. Memorial services will be held on Friday, 11 a.m from The Jenkins-King Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
