Obituary for Charles Brown

Charles Bradford Brown, 90 of Claridon Township, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at UH Geauga Medical Center. He was born on March 24, 1927 in Washington, PA, son of the late Joseph S. and Esther (Burgess) Brown. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. Charles worked for Ford Motor in Brookpark and retired at the age of 65. He was a former member of the American Legion. His hobbies included playing Pool; crossword puzzles; and playing Free Cell on the computer. 

Charles is survived by his wife Diane R. Chisholm Brown of 37 years; his three children, Tanya Jo Brown-Radney-Summerville, Charles Wesley (Patrice) Brown, and Keith Bradford (Rita) Brown; three step children, Carol Caine, Laura Gigas, and Lynne (Larry) Wittenberg; his sister Betty Tyler; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Betty Jo (Scipio) Brown; three brothers; and three sisters.

A private graveside service will be held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
