Obituary for ANGELO A PORCARO

Angelo A. Porcaro Angelo A. Porcaro, 62, of Birdsboro, passed away Saturday January 30, 2021 at 5:30 am in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. He was married to his high school sweetheart Colleen K. (O’Brien) Porcaro and they celebrated 40 years of marriage together in May. Born in Reading, Angelo was the son of the late Arthur J. and Mary A. (Pagnotti) Porcaro. He was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and was graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and attended Kutztown College. Angelo was employed by Ametek in Columbus, Ohio as a field service technician. In addition to his wife Colleen, he is survived by his children Pamela K. Grzelaczyk, wife of William Grzelaczyk of Mountaintop, PA; Stephanie A. Maier, wife of Jonathan T. Maier of Shillington; Rebecca M. Henry, wife of Jeffrey W.J. Henry of Exeter Township; Staff Sergeant Michael A. Porcaro, husband of Karah M. Porcaro of Honolulu, Hawaii and his grandchildren Abigail, Olivia, Owen, Lyanna, Baby Girl Maier, Brooke, Theodore and Aurora. Angelo is also survived by his brother Eugene A. Diamont, husband of Pamela Diamont of Houston, Texas and his sister Maria A. Dean, wife of Charles Dean of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Angelo loved the hustle and bustle of the Flea Market, specializing in electronic items, but he could sell you almost anything. He had a special talent for fixing almost anything. He loved to play music and was in several bands in his youth. Guns and fireworks were a passion of his and he could always enjoy a good beer with family and friends. He will be missed by his family and furry girls Penny and Lady. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10:00 am. Reverend Monsignor Edward R. Domin, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Saturday 9:00 am to 9:45 am.
