Obituary for Melba Stubbs

Melba L. Stubbs CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Melba L. Stubbs, 89, passed away January 6, 2017. She was born in Rainelle, W. Va. and was a life-time Cuyahoga Falls resident. Melba worked for Anderson Rubber Co. and was a Cuyahoga Falls crossing guard. She was member of the High St. Christian Church for many years and a long-time volunteer at Good Neighbors. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; brother, Thurmond (Marge) Childers; sisters, Axie Honaker and Gladys Childers; she is survived by her nephew, Mitch Childers; friends, Nancy and Marvin Anderson, Pat Whitlam and Linda Linnen. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Cleveland Christian Home, 2202 Prame Ave., Cleveland, OH, 44109 or Good Neighbors 1453 Goodyear Blvd. Akron, OH, 44305.
