Obituary for Betty Jane Smith
Betty J. Smith (Nedrich), 88 of Mentor, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at Heartland of Mentor. She was born August 5, 1928, in Cleveland.
She is survived by her siblings, Robert (Betty) Nedrich, Joyce Paul, Joan McIvor, Donald (Carm) Nedrich, Donna Tomes and James (Anita) Nedrich; good friends Kippie Kozel and Helga Ilkanich, and a loving aunt to many.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Robert Smith; parents, William and Anna (Mowchan) Nedrich and brother, William (Bernadette) Nedrich.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
The family will receive friends from 10 am-12 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7643 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
