Obituary for Michael A. Lussier
Michael A. Lussier, 58, a lifelong resident of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2017, with his loving family by his
side. He was the devoted companion of Lori Pekar of Seymour. Michael was born in Providence, RI on April 14, 1959, son of the late
Philip and Marina Blanco Lussier. He had worked as a truck driver for Teamsters Union Local 443 in New Haven. Mike was an avid
fan of the NY Giants, NY Yankees and UConn and enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a member of the St. Sebastian Club, Lemko
Club, Liberty Hall and Central Subalpi Club, all in Ansonia, and C.W.V. in Derby. In addition to his companion Lori, he is survived by a
daughter, Jessica Casini and her husband Matthew of Ansonia, brothers, Jay Lussier of Ansonia and Christopher Lussier of Bethany
and many friends. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday May 9, 2017, from 47 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLIRICCIUTI/BEDNAROSIECKI
FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Wednesday, his funeral will begin at 9:15 am from the funeral home,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will take place in Pine Grove
Cemetery in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mike’s memory may be made to The Center for Cancer Care at Griffin
