Obituary for John Elmer Schoenheit

Elmer John Schoenheit E. John Schoenheit, born 7-3-1926 the son of Alfred and Nina Marie Gaeser Schoenheit, died 5-1-17. John was born and grew up in Rochester, N.Y. Following service in the U.S. Navy, he graduated from the University of Rochester. His professional life as an accountant was with B. F. Goodrich and Davis Printing. He touched many lives through his talents and involvement at church, Holiday Tree Festival, Rubber City Stamp Club, Masons, National Association of Accountants, and The Poker Group. John''s commitment and love to his family was unwavering. Leaving to cherish his memory are wife, Joan; children, Keith (Julie) Schoenheit, Scott (Stephanie) Conrad, Annette Welly, Julia Baker; and grandchildren, Stephanie, Elliott, Lauren, David, and Jordan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma and son, Kevin, as well as his three siblings and their spouses. Celebration of his life will be held Friday, May 5th at Christ Woodland U. M. C, 444 N. Hawkins Rd., Akron, Ohio. Family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
