Obituary for Eugene L. Sydenstricker
Services for Eugene L. Sydenstricker, 81, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the funeral home.
Mr. Sydenstricker passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his home.
Born August 26, 1935 in Spring Creek, WV, he has lived in Willoughby for more than 60 years.
He was a United States Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Sydenstricker was employed as a supervisor with General Electric at the Tungsten Road plant in Euclid. He retired after 39 years of service.
Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Cosby (Workman) Sydenstricker; children, Brenda (Frank) Olsen, Michael Sydenstricker, James (Janet) Sydenstricker and John Sydenstricker; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings and their families.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy L. Sydenstricker.
