Obituary for Nancy L Kempert

Services for Nancy L. (Dremann) Kempert, 84, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Byron R. Bufkin of Mentor Plains United Methodist Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kempert passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

Born June 27, 1932 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Lake County resident, having lived in Mentor for the past 30 years.

She was an active member of Mentor Plains United Methodist Church, where she taught Bible classes and served as the financial secretary for 18 years.

Survivors are her husband of 66 years, Robert; sons, Steve (Cindy) Kempert, Jeff (Rona) Kempert, Bill (Sue) Kempert and David (Lesa) Kempert; grandchildren, Stephanie, Amy, Brandi, Jacklyn, Dan (Jen), Brian (Heidi), Jason (Kelsey), Courtney, Lauren, Joshua, Amber, Nicole and Brett; great-grandchildren, Mason, Paige, Peyton and Myalee; sisters, Dolly Dremann and Pat (Art) Zieske and brother, Rick (Ruth) Dremann. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Don (Debbie) Kempert and sister-in-law, Lois Reil and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lelia (Stillwell) Dremann and sister, Carol Kurkowski.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township following the service on Saturday.
