Obituary for Dennis C. Baylor

Dennis Charles Baylor, 57, of North Canton, Ohio, received his wings on March 28, 2017, surrounded by family after courageously battling cancer. Dennis was born in Akron, Ohio on June 27, 1959. He graduated in 1977 from Garfield High School and continued on to The University of Cincinnati where he became a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He later went on to study at Baltimore Culinary Arts School where he honed his skills as a chef. After years in the culinary field, Dennis along with his wife, Renea, started a full service event and catering experience, Intimate Solutions, LLC, where he served as Executive Chef. He was also actively involved in his church, St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, The Akron Minority Business Association, Da Suga Foundation. Dennis was preceded in death by his loving parents, Marie and Bob Baylor; father, Richard Glass, and sister, Torria Carroll. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Renea Woods-Baylor; and was the proud father of daughter, Dana Marie Baylor and son, Chanc Alexander Baylor. He is also survived by sons, Ronald Overstreet, Jonathan Overstreet, and Jeffrey Sibley; daughters, Natasha Overstreet and Amber Woods; mother, Linda Whetstone; sisters, Carolyn Holsey, Darletta Rubin, Francine Blackwell, Willene Holsey, and Joni Lumpkins-Tyson; brother, Bryan Glass; aunt, Melva Glass-Foster; nine grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
