Obituary for Lisa Faford

Lisa A. Faford, age 50 passed away peacefully in the Seasons Hospice House in Milton, MA on Wednesday April 5, 2017, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on June 30, 1966 to the late Virginia Perry. Lisa was the dearly loved granddaughter of the late Nicholas and Mildred Joseph, beloved niece of Diane and Daniel Foley of Walpole, and cherished cousin of Adam, Jennifer, and Marie and their families. Lisa will be missed by her family and her many close friends and companions.

Lisa was raised in Norwood, Massachusetts and graduated Norwood High School in 1984. She went to Mount Ida College and earned an associates degree in communications. Lisa worked in many places, but her most significant place of employment was her grandfather's business, M. Joseph Sewing Machine Company in West Roxbury. She was a very caring and loving person with a great sense of humor. Lisa loved animals, music, dancing, the beach, and spending time with family and friends. 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Lisa's Wake in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 3-6 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 55 Emmonsdale Road, West Roxbury. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.
