Obituary for Evelyn B Ledford

Services for Evelyn B. (Mullins) Ledford, 89, of Willoughby, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Mrs. Ledford passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born August 31, 1927, in Andover, Va., she has lived in Willoughby for the past 61 years.
She loved to crochet and donated many scarves to homeless veterans. She was also an active member of the United Rubber Workers Local 3 at the former Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby before her retirement. She later worked at the Willoughby Convenient Store on Clark Avenue for several years.
Survivors are her children, Sammie (Robert) Horton, Steve (Joanne) Mullins, Jimmie Dawson, Connie (Darrell) Garlock, Debbie Fabian, James Kelly (Sue) Ledford, Revonda (Ken) Lewis and Amy Ledford; 18 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. She also leaves her brother, Arthur Mullins; son-in-law, James Roberson; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Keith Ledford, in 1990; and daughter, Sandra Roberson in 2010. Her parents, Grant and Ella Mae (Burgan) Mullins; brother, Omer Mullins; and son-in-law, Rick Fabian, are also deceased.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald R. Perks of Willoughby United Methodist Church will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the service on Friday.
