Obituary for Warren Harold

Warren E. Harold, 77, entered into eternal rest on February 28, 2017, at Griffin Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Theresa Sirois Picard Harold. Mr. Harold was born in Derby on May 22, 1939, son of the late Robert and Anna Liska Harold. A resident of Seymour for over 30 years, he was employed as a painter at City Auto Body in Ansonia for 43 years, until his retirement. Warren’s greatest passion was building and flying model airplanes. He is survived by sons, Gerald Picard of CA and John Picard of Seymour, daughters, Jacqueline Pereiras (Kenneth) of Derby, Sharon Lawlor (Martin) of Ansonia and Karen Smith (Charles) of Orange, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Steven Picard, a daughter, Geraldine Fink and a brother, Robert D. Harold II. Visiting will take place on Friday morning March 3, 2017, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am, a funeral service in celebration of Warren’s life will be held with Rev. Richard Beattie officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
