Obituary for Kathleen Kanos

KATHLEEN KANOS STRUTHERS - Kathleen Kanos, 59, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning. Kathleen was born Aug. 27, 1957, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John S. and Pauline B. (Berndt) Kanos, and was a lifelong area resident. Kathleen had managed the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Struthers for 25 years and most recently had been a title clerk for the Mahoning County Clerk of Courts.

She leaves her three children, a daughter, Sarah (Steven) Pinciaro of Struthers, and two sons, John Corman Jr. of McDonald and Michael Corman of Boardman; and three precious grandchildren, who were the joy of her life, Landen, Michael Jr. and Aleena. Kathleen also leaves her three sisters, Barbara (Randall), Janet (Bill), and Christine; three brothers, Joseph (Brenda), John (Deborah), and Michael; and many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends were very important to Kathleen and she cherished the time she spent with them. She was the best “BMV lady” ever and was loved by many and will be greatly missed. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at St. Cyril and Methodius Church, 252 E. Wood St. in Youngstown. Friends and family will meet directly at the church. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Anstrom Chapel in Boardman
