Obituary for June C Kish

JUNE C. KISH YOUNGSTOWN – Private services will be held for June C. Kish, 86, who passed away Sunday night at Park Vista Retirement Community. June was born Nov. 19, 1930, in Geauga Township, Pa. She was a daughter of Forrest and Margaret Shaffer Baker. June graduated from Grove City High School and came to the Youngstown area in 1962, and lived many years on South Bella Vista Avenue. She worked in the kitchen at Paisley House for 15 years in the 1980s and 1990s.

She was a former member of the Mahoning Methodist Church, where she was a former choir member and taught Sunday school. June married Julius Kish in 1962, and he passed away in February of 1981. She is survived by a son, Alan Kish of Youngstown; a stepdaughter, Cindy Miller of Arizona; and a stepson, James Kish of Long Beach, Calif. June is also survived by three brothers, Joseph, Lee, and James Baker, all of Grove City, Pa. She also leaves many nieces and nephews in the Grove City area. Funeral arrangements have been conducted by the Szabo & Sons Funeral Home.
