Obituary for Paul W. Bauder

Paul W. Bauder CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Paul W. Bauder, 94, passed away January 8, 2017. He was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident, graduating from Falls High in 1941. Paul served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, going on to retire from the Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education after 32 years of service. He was an avid marksman, enjoyed cars, motorcycles and watching western movies. Preceded in death by his wife, Sarah; sister, Doris Bohn; sister-in-law, Thelma Hazell, he is survived by his sisters-in-law, Lillian "Bobby" Gifford and Joyce Hazell; brothers-in-law, Edward "Ted" (Marian) Hazell and Stan Hazell; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call two hours prior to a 2 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH, 44087.
