CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Blanche Leora Sheppard, age 92, went home to be with our Lord on January 2, 2017.
Mrs. Sheppard was born in Palmyra, Ohio on February 16, 1924 and resided in Cuyahoga Falls the last 60 years after moving here from Charlestown, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
William Sheppard Sr. who worked for the City of Cuyahoga Falls Water Department for many years before passing away on December 21, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Champagne; and sisters, Verna Beck and Betty Kolacz. She is survived by her brother, Charles Champagne Jr.; four sons and daughters-in-laws, Dennis and Janie, Pete and Margaret, Ron and Barb, and Robert Jr. and Lori Sheppard. She had 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who loved and adored her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221, where a Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday January 7 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Steven Lashbrook officiating.
